10. Um, if you’re really desperate but not for long term. But with a plastic bag you can evaporate and distill it

1. Oxygen….Safety/shelter…water….calories
2. Safety/shelter …or…. water – depending on environment
3. without water – 3 days or less till death …. without food – approximately 3 wks
4. water requirement depends on environment, body size, etc but around 16 cups
5. best fire starter – cig lighter ….and I really prefer the electric/no flame ones – not affected by wind!!!
6. KNIFE! …or Knives since two is one and one is none if first one is lost/broken/stolen…
7. Tarp = shelter/tent…..windbreak for campfire…..wear as rain poncho….. solar still for water….carry pack for stuff esp. water crossing
8. Movement of the sun – set a stick in the ground and mark the shadow – or just pay attention to the sun as you move
9. Tell time left before sunset: If you can see horizon or stable point like western mountain top, each finger widths from sun to that point tell approx 15 min. Hand widths tell approx one hour.
10. urine….no, cuz body elimates what it can’t use

5) Taken literally, a match, but a strike and/or dry tinder are also arguable

7) Shelter, shade, waterproofing, water capture, transport of materials, rescue
8) Sun, moss on trees, flow of rivers/streams
9) Use hand/finger count from horizon technique
10) As a last resort only, but if you do don’t puke afterwards.

8.the sun comes up from the east, sets it the west. facing east ninety degrees to your left is north, west behind
you 90 degrees to your right is south

10.yes it will give a little bit oof hydration to you, but not the best idea

7. No, I can’t, but here’s my go at it! 1. Shelter 2. Protection from weather, sun, etc. 3. It can be ripped and used to bandage a wound 4. Transportation if you get injured and have someone else there to pull you 5. A tree swing (Ha ha! just kidding!) Unfortunately I can’t think of another one.

10. Yes, if you have the proper filtering system.
