Pleasantly surprised

I thought this knife would be a nice addition to the outdoor gear. I've seen similar knives before, but always found them to be a bit flimsy and more of a novelty, but this knife is sturdy. The full tang design and the quality of the steel surprised me. The compass definitely works when the knife is out of the sheath and the little signal mirror on the back of the compass is a nice added feature. The sharpener, and ferro rods also are a great addition. This is definitely coming into the bush with me when I go bow hunting. Would definitely recommend buying this to any outdoorsman.

Excellent tool for everyday use!

I love the Neck Knife for everyday use, but it's also the perfect tool to keep in your car, your bug-out bag, or your emergency shelter. The blade is super strong and the knife is the perfect length for cleaning fish or animals for food. Thanks for all your amazing products!

Great tool but ..

Pretty cool little gadget, that I actually used while walking my daughter's dogs in a shady area. I wore it around my neck for quick access. Tried the fire starter and pretty quickly it was able to get a piece of cotton to burst into flame.

Only problem was the compass was totally useless. And yes I know how to use a compass. This one just doesn't work you can rotate it 180° and North will go wherever you put it.

I think this one should actually be looked into because you could be putting yourself at risk if someone were to get lost using that as a survival tool and not be able to find their way, they could try to sue you. Stranger things have happened.

Haven't tried the sharpener yet as the blade was nice and sharp, but it looks a little bit on the rough side. We'll see how it works.

As far as the self-defense tool, the blade could be longer, or there could be some sort of ring so as not to be able to have the knife removed from you.

Quick release is secure but easy enough to get out, and I didn't feel like the knife would accidentally fall out. Fix that little compass issue and you'll have a pretty nice little gadget on your hands.

Neck Knife

It's a nice piece to add to your survival or bug out bag. The ferro stick sits a little high. The knife "sharpener" is abrasive. Not good for sharpening. The compass I would not trust. I compared it to my normal compass and it was off by about 10-15 degrees. I do plan on using this while camping.

Good tool to have handy

The Neck Knife is a pretty good, compact multi use item. It’s small enough to not get in the way, but has enough blade length and heft to handle many “oh, no, now what?” scenarios. It won’t replace my regular “always on my hip” blade, but if that one isn’t available, this will probably manage.

The handle is a bit small for my hands, but that’s me, and even so, it fits the first few fingers ok. It’s actually kind of comfortable given it’s size. You just can’t expect to use it to fight a bear. (not a big one, at least) :-)

It didn’t come razor sharp outta the box, but pretty well for the factory edging, considering the price. I believe it will take an edge if given the time and effort to make it so. I showed this a bit in the video, slicing paper. Decent, not great.

The sharpening rod seems a trifle coarse, but ought to suffice for field use. I won’t be using this knife to trim my mustache after all.

The compass actually looks like it’s matching up to a couple of my better ones, as far as pointing where it should. A gazillion others have mentioned you need to take the blade out of the case, well, it’s true. No biggie.

The ferro rod is a bit on the small side, but if you lost your good one, it’ll muster up some reasonable sparks. Not great, but for its size it does work. Sparks showed in the video, but not like a big ferro rod would.

It came with a good strong cord. I don’t think it’s 550 paracord, but it’s good for hanging around your neck. I may swap it out for some, just…
