Features:
  • Cut Dense Brush: The razor-sharp steel combined with the leverage you get from the 15"-inch blade makes it incredibly easy to cut through the thickest brush in the wilderness.
  • Insanely Sharp: The 3CR13 stainless steel blade is sharp enough to slice through foliage countless times before it loses its edge.
  • Saws Through Branches with Ease: On the other side of the machete, we've added a saw with 56 bi-directional teeth. That means it cuts wood twice as fast because it cuts into the wood as you push and pull it.
  • Stealthy: The whole machete is coated in a matte black finish that doesn't reflect sunlight.
  • Corrosion Resistant: The matte black finish combined with the 3CR13 stainless steel makes the machete's blade corrosion resistant. That means you can use it in any weather without fear that rust will ruin the blade.
  • Full Tang: The metal of the machete's blade extends all the way to the end of the handle, otherwise known as "full tang". This is the most durable way to build a slicing weapon. Its full tang blade is so reliable that it can cut through cinder blocks without breaking!
  • Comfortable Non-Slip Handle: The handle has a slight curve that fits your hand and makes it easier to hold even if you don't have much hand strength.
  • Lanyard Punch Hole:  You can fit a lanyard through a small hole at the end of the handle to hang it up when you’re not using it.
  • Ultra-Light: Weighs a mere 0.9 pounds. This makes it much easier to swing and use for an extended period of time.
Includes:
  • Essential Tact Machete 15" Dual-Sided Blade
  • Nylon Sheath (with blade guard)

What would you rather have a little pocket knife or a razor-sharp machete with a killer 15" blade? The machete is the clear winner, and you'll be glad it's with you if you're ever attacked by predatory animals or criminals.

Great feel and Balance

The blade is a little thicker than your average Machete and shouldn't bend when hitting the occasional knot on a branch and the weight feels good in your hand. The non slip style handle has grooves in the right places to work well even when wet. It feels great in your hand and well balanced. The handle snap enables you to hang it blade up when outdoors so the sheath doesn't drink water when raining. I may sew an eyelet the size of a .50 cent piece to serve the same purpose. Two simple improvements would make it easier to use and carry. The shoulder strap should be on the same side as the logo, this would enable you to carry it on your back with the blade up and in easy reach with the handle facing the correct direction(right or left handed). It is harder to remove when the handle is facing the wrong direction. You can remove machete easier with the handle down. If worn with the handle up, you have remove it from your back to get the blade out of the sheath and then wonder where the sheath is when finished. The handle's female side of the snap should come from the bottom over the male side of the snap, so a simple push down with your thumb would release it. Two snaps would be better and safer, but using one finger to release it, beats the pants off of reaching over the tail of the snap or being forced to use more than one finger to release it. A sheath guard (plastic like on the tip) over the saw side of machete would make it easier to remove and put back in, but more…
