Lifesaving Portable Shelter For 2

Features

  • Simple to Set Up: To set up all you have to do is extend the included cord and attach it to 2 anchor points and you have yourself a makeshift shelter that should help keep you and one other safe during inclement weather.
  • Fire Resistant: The durable polyethylene can ward of the flames and embers of a fire, giving you an extra layer of safety.
  • Supremely Affordable: Traditional tents will cost you in excess of $50. This tent is an absolute no brainer for anyone who wants to stay dry and safe as it's much more reasonable in price.
  • Lightweight and Compact: At only 1.5 x 8.8 x 12 inches (when packed) and 1.1 pounds in weight, the tent takes up very little room, making it a great addition to a survival kit.

Tube tent

Looks good can't wait to try it out. That going to have to wait until next year. Got stuck at home with a heart monitor, so I'm not able to go camping. But next.year I will.

Plastic sheet Tube tent

This last weekend I tried mine out, 3500 ft. elevation ,on the lake shore. First of all I scored, as the local Wal-Mart had these on sale for a buck. I bought one to try out and it did everything I could ask of it. It kept me dry during 5 periods of rain and high winds we had that night. It did suffer one tear, I kept my boots on and when I rolled over the boot caught. If you did not have to move the tent around, I would not hesitate to stay in it for a week. I would just add pine branches to one end and sides. I spread out my gear on both sides of it to keep the tent expanded and off my body. I also used the micro sleeping bag and it kept me from freezing, it got down to 40* plus wind chill. The team took what we carry in our pack while on a SAR mission. I don't normally carry a tent or a 3 piece sleeping bag system. So these two items really worked well for me. I can easily carry 3 of these tents in my cargo pocket. When beat up, I will cut the tent up and use it for signal panels.

Best Regards,

Tube Tent

It is everything advertised but, would add that it needs anchor spikes to be complete. I get it, it is a small nit pik but would be complete! Have not taken out of package either so don't know if it includes eyelets for the spikes? Just ideas!

Hello Phil. Thanks for the great idea for adding spikes and eyelets w/ grommets to our Tube Tent. We'll alert our product development team of your feedback. The Tube Tent does not currently have eyelets or grommets to accommodate the spikes. Again, thanks for your feedback. ~The Survival Frog Team
